Anxiety

A little bit of stress is a good thing. It gets us out of bed in the morning, motivated to work towards our goals. But too little or too much stress are problems that interfere with our ability to be the best possible versions of ourselves. They prevent our minds from being at ease. They interfere with life’s daily tasks and pursuing opportunities.

Are you a constant worrier? Or do you have anxiety attacks? Maybe you have sleep issues because you’re staying awake, mind racing, worrying? We will work together on sleep hygiene, and I can give you practical tools to use to ease the anxiety and move forward in your life. We will explore your emotional life and ways to regulate emotions that may overwhelm you. Through a combination of techniques, we can explore better ways to control your thoughts and the anxiety that follows so they don’t interfere in your ability to be fully present in your life. Are you sleeping too much? Not enough? Feeling hopeless or sad most days? Are your eating patterns out of whack or just not feeling motivated? Through CBT and other modalities, we will discuss better ways to sleep, eat, and help your motivation and any barrier that may be getting in the way of leading the life you would like. We can use Mindfulness as well as other approaches to get you to place where you feel more at ease.
